Mind Control Slug

Jam entry for AI & Games Jam of 2023, its about a slug that can mind control people who have a love/hate relationship with apples. Its not really a game with an objective, you can kind of just slowly move around and watch people eat apples.

The controls are not listed in the game, didnt have time. They are the following.

CONTROLS:

Move with WASD keys.

Escape key to quit.

R key to restart the level.

Hold space to activate slug telepathy, hover your mouse nearby a person and let go of space to take control of them, you have the ability to perform the same actions as they.

To perform an action as someone else you have to be in the right context and left click. Usually that means just throwing an apple when you have it, picking up an apple when you dont and sitting down or standing up. 

Space to jump back into the slug or just go past some distance threshold.

Apologies for the buggyness and instability, it was more complicated than I thought. Great learning experience, it was originally supposed to be a real game but the systems were hard to wrangle in time so I had to make some very quick and messy cuts. The original idea involved solving puzzles as the slug and there were 3 or 4 puzzles planned out as basic puzzles I could do but that didn't really pan out. Maybe I'll save em for the full release someday :)
